Join us on October 1 from 5 to 7PM for Virtual Cocktails & Connections! As we adjust our event to a more virtual world, we aim for this year’s Cocktails & Connections to provide even greater opportunities for relationship building. This year’s virtual event includes: 1.) An online auction for business development meetings with corporate counsel – Ticket-holders will get exclusive access to the online auction offerings, and will make their bids from the safety & comfort of their homes. Meetings with corporate counsel can then be arranged via video conference or a socially-distanced lunch. 2.) Critical networking opportunities – Using the Zoom breakout room feature, we will arrange roulette networking, providing the opportunity to form strategic connections between private lawyers and corporate counsel. We hope you’ll join us by purchasing a ticket. Purchasing a ticket not only grants you access to networking opportunities, but also makes a big difference in the lives of Atlanta’s most vulnerable residents. All proceeds support Atlanta Legal Aid in providing high-quality legal help to those who could not otherwise afford it.    As an addition to the event, the General Counsel and Chief Human Resources Officer (retired) of UPS will be speaking to private attorneys about what she as a GC looked for when hiring a new outside counsel, and will offer words of advice to current counsel on relationships with outside counsel and what is important. Please note only lawyers, law firms, corporate counsel, and judges are eligible to purchase tickets. Vendors  and private company representatives must sponsor to attend the event.
